Long Time Coming ...

Dear Flossie Fans and Family,

I do apologize for the hiatus; but it was

much needed. A lot of revamping has taken place, a lot of business decisions have been finalized. Nonetheless, we are back in business. So now that you are excited to see me again, let me inform you of our #headlines....

A few businesses have been put to the side for the time being to help some of Flossie Solutions business grow into full service companies. A wise man gave me some great advice that I think will perhaps change my life in the future.

He said,"Ashley, you can't catch two rabbits at one time." That really had me thinking. Narrow down what sells and makes me happy, as if it was already a fulltime job and start from there. I have been putting fulltime hours into our skincare and apparel business, Flossie Skincare and B. Dang3rouz Clothing and Accessories for the past six months and I have came up with some creative things and my clientele has been building to dream that I am in arm's reach for our FIRST BOUTIQUE coming soon enough.

Flossie Skincare has grown in more ways than one. The marketing is a lot better with reaching over 1,000 new people in the community and having returning clients of almost a year. We still offer our most popular moisturizer, Grandma Flossie's Shea Butter Moisturizer and our popular scrub, Pre-parement Peppermint Scrub. But great news to be told is that Flossie Skincare is branching out to Flossie Cosmetics in November of 2011! Flossie Cosmetics will cater in the area of mineral based foundations, blushes and eyeshadows and all natural lash growing mascaras. Yes, feeling beauty hasn't been easier. The Flossie Skincare and Cosmetic website will be back up shortly.

B. Dang3rouz Clothing and Accessories is an apparel company that I have been working extra hard on catering to men and women providing affordable apparel and accessories with high quality. As of right now, B. Dang3rouz Accessories offers SHAMBELLA BRACELETS (worn by the hottest hip hop stars like RIck Ross, TI and Lil Wayne) for men in the price range of $15 and $35. The Red Pump

Dressing up for work and looking good for a night out seems to be the concept for this fall season. Everywhere I go, I see many different styles that match great personalities. Indeed, I am a bit impressed this season because I like seeing and trying different things like mixing patterns.

So everyone ask me, "How do I dress up what I already have during this recession?"

Well it is very simple, I like to say. I see and hear that many people are a bit intimidated with mixing and matching colors they think would look good together and worry about being judged due to their sense of style. What you have to realize is that to be original, if you're not talked about, you're not making a fashion statement! Therefore, mix and match everything in your closet like purples with different shades of yellow and patterns.

Remember, if you are going to wear something high waisted like a plaid shirt with a belt to accent your waist, be sure that the belt is dark like a brown or black. This will help make your waist look smaller and your stomach flatter. Want to make your legs look tone? Wear skinny jeans that are dark like dark blue or dark gray.

Want to make your legs look longer? Heels help your legs look longer and more toned. This season's 'in" shoe seems to be the red pump. The red pump can be a before and after 5 p.m. shoe, depending on how you dress it.

For example, you can wear the red pump before five by wearing it with over sized gaucho pants or slacks with a top that is a shade of red or can compliment the red pump. For after five, everyone knows that red goes with everything!

Dare to be different, dare to stand out and dare to challenge the fashion world.

B. Dang3rouz Accessories NOW Available in Da Closet in Lynnhaven Mall, VA

It has been another successful week working with the Flossie Lee Inc. empire. Yesterday, B. Dang3rouz Accessories were welcomed into their new home on Da Closet in Lynnhaven Mall. As they settled into their new home, my accessories grabbed many people's eyes as they lay upon the counter for inspection.

It's great to know that there is love in all the cities of Hampton Roads. So far, we are taking Suffolk, Norfolk and now Virginia Beach by storm. Four more cities to go in the Hampton Roads to go! Newport News, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, ... be on the look out!

To have so many achievements in the year and it has only been eight months is a true testimony that anything is possible and if you apply yourself you can achieve it and the impossible IS possible.

While you are in Da Closet, speak with Sheldon, the owner, to get your own custom shirts made as well as check out a few of his items on his clothing line. There is a little something there for everyone that likes contemporary styles and dares to be different. Just don't forget to get the B. It has been a little while since I updated my status on what is going on as far as clothing is concerned.

Recently, this past week, B. Dang3rouz Accessories have been accepted into My Hot Spot, a clothing store owned by Alex Lan in Norfolk, VA inside of Military Circle Mall.

Not only can you find my accessories there and my clothing items in the near future, but you can find labels such as Ed Hardy, RocaWear and House of Dereon as well. Why not support a local designer in the process!?

The prices for my accessories in My Hot Spot are reasonable, starting at low as $6. I add new pieces every Sunday, so stop by and see what is new!

Down To Earth Boutique

I have to admit,

B. Dang3rouz Clothing has come a very long way, but it still taking baby steps for the BEST. The econmony (they say) is slowly getting better and though I haven't really seen that will my own eyes, I do believe that it will and that is because I am a positive person in general.

So needless to say, I thought, "Hmm, no this is Florida or my old boutique, but this is a new state and I have new opportunites! Therefore, why not try and do the consignment shop thing like I first thought out?"

I'm happy that I listened to my conscience! You can not only find me at Ingram's Flea Market on multiple weekends, but you can find my finer pieces in Down To Earth Boutique in DownTown Suffolk, Virginia!

The boutique is nice and cozy and the owners are very down to earth-like their boutique's name! Many other designers are there as well such as Love Yourself First (LYF). Her clothing looks great as well!

So get down there and get the shopping! I add new pieces every 2 weeks!

The Moment We All Have Been Waiting For!

Ladies and gentleman,

The Diary of the Black Stilettos is officially published and ready for you to buy as a download and/or in hard copy!!

I'm elated to know that this was all possible. With massive amounts of motivation from God, my husband and friends, the determination to want to see better days and knowing that I am a survivor of many things, this book is absolutely great and it can go many places!

This book will be part one of the Black Stiletto series. Book two is under construction as we speak. =)

It is so amazing how no more than 2 months ago, I was writing for magazines and the editors told me that I was a 'poor' writer and that I was not good candidate material for writing articles let alone an English paper. But here I am writing and publishing books! If I was as poor as what they assume I was, I wonder where would being a shitty writer will get me.

Needless to say, I am not here to bash and make others feel bad, because I feel great and I am so proud of who I am, what I have accomplished and where this whole series is going to go and I refuse to let any or everyone still my joy.
